The Refuel Teen Center began construction in 2017. It opened its doors in 2019. The teen center was designed to meet the needs of local youth. The first room is a large open game room with gaming tables and consoles (Pool, Air hockey, shuffleboard, fusball, ping pong, Oculus VR, Xbox series X, Nintendo Switch, and more). This area serves as a way to get our teenagers off the street and into a healthy atmosphere with fun and food. Second we built a computer/kitchen/meeting room. We have utilized this space for GED Classes, tutoring, and more. During Covid we used this space for the students to come to and access classes online. Lastly we built a shop to get our students hands on tools, and have also used that space for pottery, as there are many life lessons in art.
